The Queen Street Community Hall was transformed into an intimate live music venue last weekend. Lovers of music braved the torrential rain and headed out to the hall. They weren't disappointed - the Bart Stenhouse group delivered two nights of fabulous jazz fusion! Delicious food and drinks were made and sold by Hall volunteers - it was a successful night for all involved.
The Queen Street Community Hall has some wonderful new sandstone steps. The steps have expanded the usable area of the community facility by providing safe access to the rear grounds. The sandstone steps are phase 1 of a larger project to provide an outdoor community space for workshops, markets, performances and other community activities. Two evenings of sensational jazz and world fusion music this weekend at the Queen Street Community Hall, Yeppoon! The Bart Stenhouse Group are traveling up from Brisbane/ Northern NSW to play two gigs - Friday night: Indian Jazz Fusion, Saturday night: Flamenco/ Afro Cuban.
