Jeremiah, Casey and the Porpoises light up outdoor community space!

On 19 November 2016, the Medicinal Porpoises, Casey Marie and Jeremiah Johnson performed at the new outdoor community space at the Queen Street Community Hall. The Yeppoon Recreation Youth INC. committee, who manage and maintain the hall grounds, have been working to improve the outdoor area through working bees, grant applications and with the assistance of other volunteers, local tradespeople and the Green Army. Mums and Kids Yoga - Starts Tomorrow!

There is a new class starting at the Hall tomorrow (Wednesday 23 November) at 9.30 am. See info below from the class instructor Nicky Way: "Mums and Kids Yoga. Want to go to yoga but you’ve got the kids? Bring them with you! Four or four months, it doesn’t matter this Wednesday 23 November 9.30am TOMORROW at the Yeppoon Queen Street Community Hall (next to the kindergarten). Come along and try a relaxed 45 minute class for mums and kids to try yoga. Bring a mat* for you and one for your little person whether bub or toddler. Mirror Article - Live music, outdoor space - fundraiser!

Highlighting the great work of Bob Beezley Stone Masonry and the Green Army volunteers, as well as the generous donations from Cap Coast Sand and Gravel and Boral and Tanner’s Bitumen and Asphalt. This, together with the successful KBSC/LSC community grant, has made the first upgrades possible to the Hall grounds.
