Successful grant application for curtains
The Yeppoon Recreation Youth Club Inc. were successful recipients of Round 2 2016/2017 - Livingstone Shire Council, Keppel Bay Sailing Club and Inverness Yeppoon Community Grants Scheme. Our project was for the purchase and installation of blackout curtains. The blackout curtains will enable the Queen Street Community Hall to be more accessible as a music/performance/theatre space. Bart Stenhouse & Surojato Roy - Indian classical & flamenco-jazz. 21 April 2017
International touring artists Bart Stenhouse (Aus) and Surojato Roy (India) will perform at the Queen Street Community Hall as part of their 2017 East Coast tour. Bart is an accomplished guitarist and composer, well versed in indian classical and flamenco styles. Surojato Roy is a percussionist, specializing in tabla, from Kolkata. Together they make dynamic and spiritually moving world music - not to be missed!
